Physiotherapists diagnose and provide hands-on treatment and exercise prescription to address movement dysfunction. Physiotherapists also plan and implement individual treatment programs to prevent physical disabilities.

This occupation is normally client based in nature and requires that physiotherapists have good interpersonal skills and patience in addition to a thorough understanding of anatomy and pathology. Physiotherapists must also be highly observant and be skilled in critical thinking in order to make safe and effective clinical decisions.
